I am having a HELL of a time trying to find a mic that works with my G4, do I HAVE to buy Apple's Plaintalk Mic or can I get a 3rd party product? If so, where and which is the best one? I know I can't just go to CompUSA and pick up any old one. Headsets/mics are good too. Thanks in advance.

I use a cheap Radio Shack mic. Plaintalk mainly means that the mic has to put out a stronger signal than most older mics put out. Look for a mic that requires a battery - usually AA or AAA. It must also have a 1/8" plug style.
