Yesterday I was asked to helpa fellow Mac user to sort out a printing problem - it turned out the printer was an Apple Personal Laserwriter LS (May 1991) and it was giving an error message regarding the motor but when I opened it to check it out I saw a sheet of paper partly protruding from the top roller -so I am assuming it may just be a bad paper jam - my problem is I have never seen one of these machines before - (no one said I was an expert, it is a small town and we all try to help each other) - and although I have worked with photocopiers in the past I just could not work out how to open and clear the paper from the machine,- and I suspect it is so simple I will die with embarassment :-) So if anyone can tell me how or give me a link - I have searched already but so far found zilch beyond "call your technician" - I would really appreciate it

many thanks if you can help us

Ron Co
