Hello. I'm visiting my parents.

My dad has an iMac G5 and just bought recently an external TDK 880N burner.

He is trying to burn DVDs.

It's not working.

I;ve tried 3 different DVD-R companies, and 1 DVD-RW.

It just keeps saying error, can't read device, or bad device.


I;ve tried to burn a DVD just using the finder, toast, iPhoto 5.

The drive does work because I put the system disc in and it popped on the screen. It just wont burn DVDs.

any hints?
