Hello all. I'm new to this board. I just recently purchased an eMac for my father in law. The $100 off promo states, "BUY ANY MAC, GET $100 OFF AN IPOD". Sounds simple. However, in filling out the form I discovered that there is no box to check for eMac (when stating the computer that you bought). I thought this could be b/c the promo began before the eMac came out. Nevertheless, I called the Apple store three different times, and all three times it was stated that the promo didn't apply to eMac purchases. Does this mean that the eMac is not a Mac? BUY ANY MAC...

Has anyone here purchased an eMac and an iPod and gotten to $100 off promo??

Thanks in advance!

I just talked with someone at 1800-My-Apple. They stated that it WOULD work with the eMac. The add clearly states ANY MAC. I think I may buy one and pursue this anyways. It could be false advertising on Apple's part...
