Can anybody who has purchased or seen the new Apple DVI -> ADC connector verify whether it uses the same massive Cube-like Apple Power Supply that the Dr. Bott adaptor does? The pictures of it on it's product page do not show any power cable at all so it's difficult to know how it works. Yet the Dr Bott DVIator clearly shows that i works through that Apple bulky power supply.

Anybody know?

the Apple P/S is approximately 1.25x6x6....relatively large, but NOT huge and ugly. I had another product (NOT Dr. Bott) with a BRICK (4x8x5) and lots of cables/connectors and a big black connector pod...awful. I bought it about a week prior to the Apple announcement and took it back to the retailer..The Apple unit is an attractive design that is easily hidden...a best of breed solution, IMHO.

My question is simply, does the Apple ADC-DVI adaptor have this Cube-like power supply or not?

I believe it uses that exact same PSU as the cube does.

I remember hearing somewhere when somebody needed a replacement for their broken cube power supply they just bought a dr bott adapter and plugged the power box into their cube with no prob
