Hello
I have got a major problem with several cds.
I use a powerbook g3, japanese os 8.6, a japanese burn tool "bs recorder gold", which came with the cdrw drive.
what I did, create several large .sit files, split them into 600+ mb chunks, copied them to a partition and burned the partition to the cd. the software checks, as in verification etc. were all fine.
now, if I want to copy back the file from disc, a "disc related error" occurs, and the copying process is stopped.
At burning time, several norton utilities files were in use, which ended up on the burned cd.
Question, is there a way to get to the data? some "low level"-hack?
So far, software and hardware worked fine, before and after, so I suspect either file size is a problem, or "something else".
thanks for the help
Matthias
