Hey guys, I just recieved my Cinema 23" Hd Display (man its beautiful) to the surprise that I was able to pick out 3 "stuck" pixels throughout the center of it (two in top middle, and one in the lower middle). At $3500, you would think these damn monitors would be perfect?!? Am I wrong? I heard the magic number to get these displays replaced was something around 5 dead or stuck pixels. What do you guys think? Bitch out Apple or live with the 3 "stuck" pixels? Opinions wanted.
Thanks, J

You're definately not alone.
The fact that only 3 out of 2.3million pixels are weird is actually a phenomenom, do you know how many were rejected to get that?!
Anyhoot, the first cinema display I got with this computer had a huge patch of them (about 30) my new one has 5.

What colour are they? Red is a pain in the ass. Can you send it back and say you weren't happy, then reorder later on?

Here's the weird thing. The pixels that are giving me the problems only show up when a dark color is displayed over them (like brown, black hair etc). Then the pixels turn green & red respectivily. Really weird, I hope they're just "stuck" and will eventually come back to full functioning life. Any ideas??
Thanks, J

Apple has told me in the past that they STRONGLY discourage massaging.
If your pixel issue is due to trapped air you can in essence, MULTIPLY thr problem by working in the air to other pixels
DON'T massage the screen.

Yeah, thats what Apple told me as well. Too bad there is no solution in sight for this problem. Beauty comes at a pretty hefty price I guess.
