It works. I cant tell until i have tried myself of course, but there is nothing i found that it would not be compatible. it even IS an Apple HD. The Pismo takes a 12.5 mm HD.

But you might want to watch out for a new IBM drive as these are quite the fastest out there, and your Pismo could use a fast disk ;-)
