I am not sure about your drive, but here is a list of drives that work with iTunes as compiled by Apple:

Ive seen that list. thanks. This CDDrive is kinda new, and it's really SWEET. all im waiting for is for someone to confirm that the mechanism is compatible with Discburner and iTunes.
None of the site that sell em, mention anything about the mechanism or it's compability.

I think this drive was discussed on AI a few months ago. Apparently the batteries last only two hours.

Looks kinda slow. What about the Archos? Its rated at 8x4x24 and for only $249 at J and R Computer. They come in USB, FireWire, and cardbus connections.

yeah, its just 1" thick. and it doubles as an MP3 player. thats the main reason i want one. i figured i could live wth a 4X4X burner, since i dont do too much burning anyway, and i get an MP3 player thats at least a couple of 100s right there.
but i need to know if it's compatible with iTunes and DiscBurner.
Thanks,
hawkeye

Why would anyone want an MP3 player that exhausts its batteries in 2 hours?

well, if i were making long trips, id be taking my PBG4 with me, and for short ones where i would like some music, i could take this Burner/MP3 player with me. if i were to get a burner & a Mp3 player(both of whih i want to get some day), id have to pay $150 for an MP3 player and at lease $400 for a portable CDRW drive, im getting both for $290(over night shipping included)@buy.com. so i think i'm getting a sweet deal, since the burner IS PORTABLE as well.
