Hi all,

I'm looking at buying the Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox for all my MP3 needs, and I was wondering if anyone's successfully using one with Mac OS X?

It's just a USB HD, as far as I can see, with some extra intelligence to decode and play MP3 out the speaker/headphone jack.

So, if anyone has one, how do you get MP3 onto it? Do you hust mount it in the finder and drag and drop? Or is there some custom loading tool?

Cheers,
Fraser

I have a Creative D.A.P JukeBox which is the European name for the Nomad Jukebox (why they name them differently I have no idea)

It works perfectly with OS 9 and OS X as it uses iTunes to upload music to the player. It does not mount like a USB Hard drive you have to use iTunes or SoundJam.

It's an excellent bit of kit, the only things that let it down are it's size and it's battery life is a bit crappy (they give you two sets of rechargables though)

I'd recommend it.

Yeah Riddler, I went to just check iTunes after I posted. Seems like this thing is a go - it looks like a great solution.

Primarily I want to use it in my car - do you know if there's a DC/cigarette lighter adapter available?

Cheers,
Fraser
