What iPod software do you use and why...
--for contacts
--for mp3 management and transfers (aside from iTunes, obviously)
--for notes/news/text/etc...

There are so many options that it would be nice to know which programs work best...

For contacts, I use the <a href="http://www.apple.com/applescript/ipod/" target="_blank">Address Book to iPod</a> AppleScript, which is really handy for keeping all of your information in one simple program.

For file management and MP3 transfer, <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=14715&db=mac" target="_blank">PodUtil</a>.

I use <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=14261&db=VT" target="_blank">PodNews</a> for my news/sports/Mac headlines. Although I must admit, I don't update my iPod every morning so I never have the most up-to-date news. The software is easy, effective and powerful (it syncs with quite a few sites).
