if this has been discussed before, please point me to the right thread, thanks.
I am looking to buy one of the new iBooks. Since my wife has a VAIO with
DVD, I though I would buy the DVD version too, and use a Firewire CD-RW
for BOTH for back-ups (of course, not at the same time...)
Any suggestions for a good one?
I would like to use it in OS X and Win ME (on the VAIO).
BURN Proof (or equivalent) a must.
Price, reliability and durability are important.
Portability and speed are NOT.
It seem LaCie, Que and Formac are good brands (are they? I am new to the
Mac scene). But do they support Win ME? (I have doubts about Formac...)
