Hey folks,
I'm getting ready to chuck this Might Mouse out the door. Cleaning the scroll ball becomes a daily process. It's really getting on my nerves. I'm looking to either buy a Logitech G5 or a S530 keyboard/mouse combo. I hear the G5 isn't fully compatible, even with USB Overdrive. I like the on-the-fly DPI switch, but apparently it doesn't with with OSX. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm using the s530, bought it about two weeks ago. Works great for me. Only downside is you can't get drivers for it from Logitech to install in XP if you're using bootcamp. It still works ok but you can't program any of the buttons on the keyboard or mouse in XP.

are you sure? the s530 is nothing but a white repackaged mac-centric version of the s510. i suggest downloading and installing the s510 drivers on xp and try that.
also, on macrumors, someone is wanting to sell their s530 keyboard only (no mouse) for $25

That would be cool, a friend of me was thinking about getting the S 530 combo but the idea if having it not working under Parallels or Boot Camp made it to think about some MS keyboard as alternative… or even wait for the Optimus keyboard to be released.

Thanks for the advice about the s510 drivers, I'll download them and give it a shot.

Ok I loaded the drivers for the s510. Windows recognizes the mouse but not the keyboard. At least I can control the volume with the mouse now which is what I really wanted anyway. The only time I use bootcamp is to play PC games that aren't available for the Mac.
