I am using USB Griffin Tech iMic and a new iBook

Problems:
Can't find way to change sound quality level (stuck in the default mode of 44.1 kHz)

Sound recording in PPT sounds choppy when trying to record narration (even though recording outside of PPT is OK - just large files)

Suggestions?
