After reading that Samsung is one of the few OS X ready laser printers, I discover the CD that comes with it only has OS 9 drivers.

On Samsung's site of drivers there's indeed an OS X one but clicking on the link results in a 'not here' page.

Any thoughts on where to get the OS X driver (and it's not even on Verionstracker.com.)

Thanks!

You didn't specify which Samsung, but <a href="http://www.samsungelectronics.com/printer/support/downloads/400329_index.html" target="_blank">here's a link to most of their laser line.</a>
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

I just bought the same printer and went through the same problems. Luckily I was able to find the V.30 drivers (which I believe are the same ones on Samsung's web site) off a web site which I cannot remember or find again. So, I put them up on my webpage:

Just that i'd post this here too...

Has anyone found a solution for uploading mp3s to their mac from the samsung yepp player (I have the YP30-SH 128meg). The manager software that is included has some ridiculous security feature( i dont see what they have to gain by implementing secumax in their products)that prevents you from doing so. Has anyone gotten any other software to work with their yepp. Also support for the voice fils on the mac would be nice too. I havn't had any luck with itunes either.

Chris_G

Thanks for your help.

The Samsung site, which is lacking to begin with, has a bad link and therefore their OS X driver doesn't show up.

I downloaded it off your site and it works!
Now I'm forced to get Quicken 2002 as I'm almost out of all OS 9 apps - so that I can print with my new Samsung printer!

Just go to samsungprinter.com and you'll see the link.
