Hi, has anyone tried specifically that burner with Toast 5.1.3? Did it work?

Is anyone as upset as me that we on the Mac have NO state-of-the-art brun program for he Mac?

- no overburning (80min+)
- no cdtext (it is a year-old-standard... toast checks CDDB - but does not write cdtext! suxx)
....

greetings, <img border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" title="" src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" />

LiteOn 40125s is used by Cendyne (have one currently) and TDK(perhaps others).

Toast works fine for burning and rewriting. I purchased Toast with Jam package, then updated to 5.1.3.

LiteOn just released new firmware. Go here:

Hi. I have a LiteOn 16102b , as used by Formac in a firewire enclosure. There were a few problems about power supply ( Formac tried to make it bus powered) but it works with toast, and native in OSX, iTunes(9 and X), OS9 and disk burner.
Burn proof etc but not the features you crave!!
Not quite the machine you asked about but I hope this helps
