I'm trying to figure out how best to do this. Would rather not spend the $$$ on an ethernet print server for home if I can avoid it. Has anyone used Belkin's USB to Parallel adapter w/the MacJet software? And does that work with the Laserjet 1100's (not listed on Belkin's website as being compatible).

Um, okay, so maybe PowerPrint, right? Can anyone tell me if they use PowerPrint in this set-up?

If the printer has drivers it will work. I've connected my HP Deskjet 842c(which has a built in USB port) via an Epson Parallel to USB adapter kit(I didn't have an extra A-B USB cable and I had this lying around so I figured I'd try it). It works perfectly in OS 9.1, Classic, and X(the HP has drivers for all three. So if you can get drivers for it, it'll work.
