Hi,

I love my new iMac and want to use one of my old HP LaserJets with it.
I have both a LaserJet4 and a LaserJet4P. I went over to MacWarehouse
and found the following:

It looks like all I'll need to use either printer. Anyone have any
experience doing this sort of thing. Neither printer is Post Script but
it looks like the drivers will work with any PCL printer. Are their any
gotchas? Will I have trouble with any software printing or is this a
good solution that just works.

I use the Powerprint USB-parallel to an HP 5L. I used the older Powerprint cable and driver on my 7200 before I got my new G4, and it worked fine. I don't see why the Belkin unit won't work. All you need is the right driver. Try checking the Belkin website, assuming they have one, to see whether they support your printer. But the HPs are so common, I would think it would work.
