Well, I am getting this display (Formac Gallery 1740) or the Apple Studio 17"... they are both great displays and both have their advantages (but the Formac seems to come out on top with its brightness, contrast ratio, pixel response time and size).

I would like to know if anyone has this and how they like it. I don't need to hear about peoples problems with Formacs support, I want to know about the display.

Wow, nobody here has one? I thought they were at least a *little* popular. Oh well, I guess I'll write back once I get mine and let you all know how I like it.

Hi,

I have one and it is very good. The only advantages the Apple 17" TFT has is the on/off switch and "monitor prefs" switch. But the Gallery is significantly cheaper!
