Can pushing down on the powermate simulate a "right click" of the mouse?

also, if using a two button mouse in X, is the right click button automatically pre-configured by X? or do you choose what it does? Is the right click on a two button mouse, the same as ctrl + click with the one button?

thanks!

a two button mouse automatically has the right button configured as the control-click function.

I believe you can change this, maybe with USB Overdrive software, but I don't know.

no idea about the Powermate.

ahh! thanks!

So if i'm used to control+click, then I shouldn't invest in a 2 button mouse?
