Hi!
I purchased the iRock 520 MP3 player as a gift for my son. It has 64MB onboard memory. For some reason the irock constantly shows the memory as being half full even though all songs have been removed. I can only add 30 MB or so. I remove all the media and still -- half full. I’m thinking I have to reformat the internal card but I do not know how to do this. No instructions on how to do that on a Mac. Have made several attempts to contact the company but not getting a response. All literature included with purchase and at the manufacture’s web site has nothing to offer. If running on a Windows platform the formatting is done through an application that is “Windows only” .... and I do not have access to a PC - I don't even want to have to go thru a PC.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!!

Is this player showing up in iTunes? If so there is an option to clear the players memory there. If you click on the play list for your player a couple extra buttons may or should show up at the bottom of the iTunes window for this.
