Anyone got anything to say about the Graphire2 from Wacom.
I'm thinking of getting a small tablet and I'm interested in other peoples experiences, good or bad?

I was going to post the same question earlier!
I'm caught in two minds over a Graphire 2, or an intuous 2...and also what size to get, an A6 or an A5...
Any info would be appreciated here too!
Cheers,
Marc
(I'd be using the tablet for Photoshop, illustrator etc)

If you would take a Ruby (color) Graphire2, search dealmac.com, where a recent deal at Outpost has them for $69.

I've been using the Graphire 2 for a few months now under OS X, and it seems to work pretty well. It really comes in handy when drawing in Illustrator. I don't have Photoshop so I can't tell you how it works in that. Probably my only complaint is that in Illustrator the eraser doesn't work. But the pressure sensitivity seems to work well.
If you got the cash I would go with the Intuous since you can get a larger writing surface (the Graphire surface is pretty small) and the Intuous has greater pressure sensitivity.
Good Luck with your decision

I was going to go for the intuous 2, but figured I'd try the Graphire first, then, if I like it, I can upgrade later...
Peace,

I know wacom are the brand name here, but I'm a bit cheaper than that. I was looking at the Acecat / Acecad flair. It seems to offer everything the wacom does save for the flip it over eraser.
Has anyone used this with photoshop on the mac? I use 7.0 / OSX.
