Is there a USB device out on the market with a standard microphone jack that'll let you use any microphone? (seeing how the Ti has no audio in port)

I doubt it, why not just use a normal USB mic?
Yeah, very stupid move on Apples part.
Man they can be idiots.

Griffin Technology (www.griffintechnology.com) makes the iMic USB to microphone jack adapter. That's the only one I know about.
