whats a good gamepad for mac for playing emulators?

I am in need of a good gamepad for my g5 and my powerbook to use with SNES9X, Power64, Nestopia, etc...

can someone recommend me of a good one that will work excellent with the mac and all the emulators?

Why not consider the X-arcade joystick or trackball, priceier but infinately more playable than a gamepad.

I have read the Xbox 360 wired controllers work really well with the emulators. I also noticed they have updated the OS X driver on versiontracker.
