Does anyone know of a utility that speeds up access to data on a ubs hard drive? I have a Buslink 20gb USB hard drive for my mp3's. When I copy them using toast to cd sometime Toast just stops and I am pretty sure its a loss of data problem. I already turned off all extensions and plugged drive into the computer and not the hub. All software I see just says that a version for USB is comming someday.

don't know about any software that could possibly circumvent the problem with USB being an inherently slow connection, but in the meantime copy the files to your internal hard drive and burn from that hard disk... you won't have any problems that way.
