My daughter received a Que! 8.4.32 burner to install on her G3/300 (beige) desktop. She has the Orange Micro PCI firewire/usb card installed. The cpu will not recognize the burner. Is there any workaround or do we send the thing back and start over?

I have found the answer to my problem... old software. After thinking about it, I updated the Apple firewire extensions to 2.3.3 from 2.2.2 and the Toast OEM version from 4.0.2 to 4.1.2 (which supports the PCI card). I guess there is nothing like having the latest updates.
