i have this 16mb smartmedia card that i orginally bought with my rio300, and then later i used it in my rio500. i also have 2 digital cameras, a toshiba PDR-M1 and a toshiba PDR-M60, both came with 4mb smartmedia cards. for xmas i got a 64mb smartmedia card, which i have put in my rio500, and it works great. now i would like to take the 16mb card, and use it in either of my camera's(which ever one can work!) but i cant get it to work. obviously the card needs to be reformated, but the M1 frezzes, and the M60 just gives an error. doesnt anyone now of a way around this, or anything that might help? i have thought maybe a smartmedia card reader would help, does anyone know?
