Hello,
Could someone recommend an affordable all-in-one printer (no fax necessary) that's guaranteed to be compatible with Airport Express? By affordable I mean less than $150. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

As all Apple Airport products are industry standard, any wireless printer will work with Airport Express. You just need to make sure there is an OS X driver for the particular printer you want. Wired or wireless, it's all the same.

I thought that was the case too, but Apple has (or used to have) a list of models printers that are compatible, which I guess means there are printers that are not, and one has to know whether the printer is compatible or not before buying. That list isn't available anymore (thanks, Apple!) but this guy saved it and has kept adding to it:

The problem is that none of the models I'm considering due to affordability are on this list, which is why posted the question...I thought he might've missed something or that the list might be outdated. Is there a way of knowing whether a particular printer has a drived BEFORE buying the printer? The list of drivers only seems to come up when the printer setup utility detects a new printer.
Thanks for the reply.

Note that none of the all-in-one features will work over Airport; it's printing only.
HP has some nice networkable AIOs that make everything available over the network through a web interface; however they're about $600.

Yup, I knew that. I have an AIO that broke down so I know only printing will work over Airport. Which is fine, since I seldom scan stuff.
Thanks.

You know, I misread your original post. I thought you wanted to network a wireless printer to your Airport network. Now I realize that you want to plug a USB printer into an Airport Express. I think you need to verify compatibility on the printer manufacturer's website. For example, here is the list of compatible HP printers.
