I have installed a 2nd SATA drive on my G5 QUAD. I have both cable connected to it, but when it boots up, the system won't recognize the drive and nothing is listed in disk utiility.

Here is a link to the drive... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152046

Am I missing a step here, I thought that all I needed to do what put it in, connect it and format it in DU.

Is this drive not compatible with my Mac? Is it something to do with SCC on the drive that needs to be disabled? I can't figure this out . Any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you!
