I purchased a new 17" studio display from Outpost.. I had gotten information from the Apple Site regarding the new ATI 32 meg video card supporting the the ADC. From the information on Apple's website regarding this card I thought that I could use a pre July 2000 G4 with the addition of this ATI card to support the Studio Display. I received the monitor and went to place the order for the card from Apple, went to finalize the order when the salesperson came back to tell me that this will not work. Now I attempt to return the monitor to Outpost because at this point it is worthless to me because I have no machine to power it. I have opened the package so Outpost will not accept the return without a return authorization from Apple. Apple will not give me this number. Their customer support was horrible regarding this issue. Has anyone else had issues with Apple's Return Policy?

How do you fail in business with a superior product and unlimited demand?

Don't listen to your customers. Lie to them and screw them at every opportunity. After all, they are the enemy. Don't get to understand their real needs. Dictate to them, there is always an unlimited supply of fools willing to buy your overpriced products which don't solve any real problems.
