Hi.

I noticed something so amazing.
I've a 233Mhz iMac. So I use a old round blue&white mouse.
Near my computer I've a CD player which includes a IR sensor for remote control.
Without any reason the tuner starts up (some times) or the sound level changes. My IR sensor LED is always working as if something was emitting in IR band. I localised the IR source : my Mouse.

How can you explain that ?
There's nothing more simple than a mouse. So ...

The 233MHz Rev. A and B iMac's had an IR networking port (the black plastic piece next to your left speaker). It was removed in the later revisions. It's more likely what your clicking the mouse is making the computer send a signal from that as opposed to the IR signal coming from the mouse itself.
