After months of waiting, the IDE controller card I paid $100 for back in August has finally got OS X support.

Well, sort of, the original manufacturer VST didn't produce the firmware update. OWC & FirmTek went through the trouble of making an OS X update and it is offered on OWC's website at http://eshop.macsales.com/vst/

It's freely downloadable. They do ask for a $10 donation though.

I installed this on my B&W G3 w/ OS X 10.1.3 and it works fine (I can boot from it, too).

Just thought some of the pissed off UltraTek/66 owners out there would like to know................
