Ok,
I have a Graphite top of the line iMac (probably to be surpassed in a couple of weeks) I was wondering, since my digital camera has NO output for firewire, if I can somehow get the video in from the VCR. I know that there is a USB to RCA connecter somewhere out there, but I'm not sure what it's called or where to find it. Also, I was hoping if there was a RCA to Firewire.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The Interview from XLR8 is exactly what you need.

This InterView. Though, after playing with USB video input, you will want to utilize that FireWire port for better quality and higher resolutions. Formac, Sony and others make FireWire video inputs.

Well I have the Belkin Videobus (pretty much identical to the interview) and though it does work quite well, and gives good frame rates (30fps fine) The picture quality is lacking. The USB video digitizers seem to only get a 320x240 resolution max, which is rather low. Plus I find the colours are somewhat flakey (pretty much like a usb quickcam).
If you want high quality, go with somthing firewire
