Does anybody know of a list? Apple's list only provides a list of Firewire and USB versions, and I'm looking to swap my 12x for a 24x. I've checked at the drive comp. database at xclr8, without satisfactory results. . . ideally, someone would just tell me what kind shows up in the new 800 Mhz G4.
Thanks,
M.

If you are using Toast, go to www.roxio.com and look at their compatibility list. If Toast sees it, it doesn't really matter if OS X recognizes it. If you are using Disc Burner, then it might matter, but Toast is so superior you should use than anyway.

I thought Toast in Mac OS X used the drives that are supported by the Mac OS X Disc Recording Framework, no more, no less.
