I just got a Sony MZ-R700DPC and I'm using iTunes for recording my music to my MD player.

I recorded about 60 songs from iTunes to my MD player and it came up with only about 7 tracks. I had to edit all my songs with the tracks afterwards...so there will be 60 tracks instead of 7.

Well...my question is...is there any way iTunes or another program to automatically create the right number of tracks for me...60 tracks with 60 songs, you know? Or...do I have to do it manually?

I know there are plug-ins for Windows, but haven't heard any for the Mac...This will save my a lot of time...too me about 30-40 minutes to edit my songs to the tracks...just madness!

Please help! Thank you...

Was the "SYNC REC" option set on the 700? Mine has worked flawlessly transferring CD's to the MD. However, I think with MP3's you need to have a second or two of "dead air" between songs in order for the MD recorder to recognize the end of the track. You can create or download a 2 second MP3 with no sound to place at the end of each track you have. This should cause the MD recorder to lay down the track marks in the correct order.
