This is exactly what I've been waiting for! Personally I couldn't give a crap about an Equalizer, but I've always been pissed that if I wanted to skip to the end of a song (or any other point for that matter) on my iPod, I had to hold down the track forward button and wait for ages. I really just wanted an option to scroll through the song much like the volume control, and lo and behold my prayers have been answered! Thank you Apple, for iPod firmware updates!
to do it play a song hit the center botton there should be a dimond where the song is currently in the track, now use the scroll whell and adjust to any point in the song, stop and it will skip to that part. simple as that.
