I've got the firewire HD and want to use it with both PC and Mac. I create 1 big dos partition and I am able to share it with Mac. Anyway, the Dos format won't allow file name that have some special charactors such as "?". I don't want to change the file name in Mac and transfer it to firewire HD. Any work around or suggestion?

Thank you.

you could just leave it as Mac HFS+ on the drive and use MacDrive on Windows...

Or, if you're using linux on PC, you could make it UFS and read it in OS X...
