phobos,

I was also having a hard time finding the export feature, but then I remembered it was a drag and drop feature! Export doesn't exist in Address Book

I only use Apple's Address Book app so, I simply dragged the contact to the Contact folder in the iPod hard disk (or wherever you'd like). As simple as it is, Apple forgot to remind us about this.

I believe the other apps mentioned by Apple has having vcards feature as simply using drag and drop too.

Have fun.

I prefer not having to mess with address book cause I don't have 10.1 so I can't connect my iPod.
Thanks for your fast answer but any other way??

You can export contact from the Address Book program by drag and droping your contact on the desktop, but you got to uncheck the hide extension option in the file info before copying the vcard on the ipod.

Or you can use the applescript that Apple made

You can export from the Palm Desktop, there's a VCard format dropdown. It gives a weird kind of V-like single vcard file, but if you put it in your contacts folder it goes over to the iPod.
a penny here a penny there, pretty soon you're talking two cents

BTW -- dragging a contact in the OS 9 or OS X version of entourage directly into the ipod "contacts" folder will work
