Hi I have a mac mini and I want to reduce the speed of its internal modem to 9200/14400 bauds. My VOIP phone service (Sunrocket) requires the speed of the modem to be low for it to send and receive faxes. Can this be done?

I thought fax topped out at 14400 anyway; your modem should auto-negotiate to 14400 when it connects to a fax machine at the other end.

hmm, I tried sending out faxes a couple of times and the fax seems to connect (could hear the sound) and then it fails to transmit. I wanted to see if I could reduce the speed to like 9200 and then test it again.
