Anyone have experience with this drive? I have an iMac with a 13GB drive that is filling up fast and I need more room. I have considered buying a pyro kit and putting in adrive, but if the price is comparable , I think that a Firewire Drive might be better for me.

Macworld rated this Western drive very well and it's about $260, but I haven't seen much feedback from these forums about it. Advice?

Thanks,

Jeff

The western digital is a very good drive... I believe I get between 13-17 MB transfers (reading and writing).
for an even better storage amount, you mght want to consider the Maxtor 80 GB fw... decent size for transporting, but even better capacity...although it is a little bit more expensive (around $350)
