Can the multifunction (printer/fax/copier/scanner) HP LaserJet 3100 be made to work with a G4?

I used to have a 3100 and it does not support what your looking for. I was able to share it because at the time I had a Windoze NT server at home that could both use the printer and share it as a network printer. Anyway, I couldn't get it working directly. I talked to several HP people and they all said that the 3100 did not have built in printer languages like other HP printers and relied heavily on your PC print drivers; and they don't have Mac versions. If you're getting ready to buy, check out the 3200m (?). I was it at MacWorld SF and it fully supports the Mac. Good Luck...
