I have a Samsung 955DF which has DDC. My cube used to be able to identify it in the Monitors control panel, but it no longer does so.

I've recently upgraded to a Radeon, but the 'forgetfulness' arose about three weeks after the installation, not immediately after.

Not a huge deal, but now not all the video modes listed in my control strip aren't supported.

Any ideas how to remind the computer what my monitor is? There are no Mac drivers for my monitor that I can find. I suppose if the DDC was working, I wouldn't need any.

Zapping PRam and clearing preferences files didn't seem to work.

I first noticed the problem at Christmas - I had packed my mac up, headed home, set it up, and BAM - 640x480x60hz. Yech.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Sorry I can't really help...
This is the right forum for this but perhaps posting in the PowerMac forum if you get no replies here could help...

Good idea, Cipher13.

The Wolfe - any chance you could move this to the G4 forum?

TIA,

Sting
