I got a monster GCC printer, primarily because it can print 13" x 35.5" ("Huh? Where do you get the paper?" --Good question). One of their smaller and cheaper printers might be the ticket for you. GCC took over the Laserwriter series from Apple. My Elite XL 20/1200 works with X. All of GCC's printers that work with X also have ethernet connections.

Kyocera, very low cost per page due to the longevity of the drum.

We got the HP with a network card. It works great and has been easy to work with both PCs and Macs. If you dont get the one with the network card you can use USB printer sharing to get all your computers connected to it.

The FS-1000 is what I use. But I don't know about OS X drivers, I don't think so.

I haven't come that far yet. But, depending on what model you get, the old LaserWriter toners might fit in.

GCC has been helpful to me on the phone so I imagine I'll be ordering my toner from them when the time comes.
