Is it possible to buy a PC geforce2 PCI card and throw it in a Mac, such as a Blue and White G3, and just use the drivers that come with MacOS 9.2.x and have everything work all dandy? Or if not, is there a ROM flash utility somewhere on the net that would help, or a Mac-specific PCI geforce2 card out there?

At MacWorld New York this past summer the folks at the nVidia booth said they had no plans to release any more PCI Mac video cards. Perhaps a pc card could be flashed to work in a Mac, but it looks like AGP is all we'll be seeing soon. Sucks for us B&W owners, but the future is coming, and there is no PCI in it.

I don't remember the exact post, but people at the board of xlr8yourmac has found that a few PC GeForce2MX cards works on the Mac straight out of the box. DO a search on their board to find out the specifics.
When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. But let him sit on a hot stove for a minute--and it’s longer than any hour. That’s relativity.
