Does anyone know where I can get a firewire cable smaller than 6'?
I have a Pismo powerbook and do not need that long of a cable and having that much is a pain even if I wind it up.

Outpost.com has a 1 meter firewire cable. Search in firewire.

FireWireDirect.com has firewire cables as short as 8 inches for $9.95. 6-6 pin, 6-4, and 4-4 options.
