Hi, I'm working with a firewire HD (sharing it with a PC and a Mac -- it came formatted for the PC).

Anyway, a couple questions I had --

1) Is it possible to leave it plugged in to the PC & Mac simultaneously, and use it from both? I would think HD synchronization would be an OS level issue, so I didn't know if it would work here. It seems to work okay if I don't have both accessing it at the same time, via "ejecting" it from one.

2) I'm having a bit of a tough time using the iPod and the external HD at the same time -- trying to daisy chain the iPod off the external HD is causing the external drive to dissappear from my TiPB. As I have all my MP3s on the external drive this makes stuff a PITA as I don't want to copy them all to the internal drive (in fact there's not room -- I have about 30 GB of MP3s). Perhaps a Firewire hub is a better solution?
