Does anybody know if Epson has any intention of eliminating the bug which appears to afflict many of their Mac OS X "compatible" printer drivers (incl. the C80)?
I am referring to the situation where, if Classic is running, the software cannot "find' the printer and you have to go through the process of locating the driver and setting it up via the Print Center. (Not downloading and reinstalling the driver, as I was advised by the Epson support group).
The driver for the C80 has been available since late October and I have seen numerous complaints in the Apple discussions forum and elsewhere but, as far as I know, the problem remains unresolved.
