Get this. I just got this new wireless intellimouse explorer for Christmas. I plug it in, it works great. Very slick. However, when I restart my mac g4, I get the blinking question mark. It can't find any of my system folders! I have a 20 gig hd, divided into 3 partitiions. OS 9.2 on one, OS X 10.1 on another and a virgin os 9.1 system on the third as a backup.

It gets weirder. As soon as I unplug the mouse (actually the base, since it's wireless) the mac boots right up, with no further problems. I can plug the mouse back in at that point and work with it as usual.

I have tried swapping out items on the USB chain. I have plugged the mouse into different usb ports in the hub, the keyboard, and even the ones on the mac itself. No dice. Same behaviour.

Wacky to be sure. I'm scratching my head.
Anybody have any ideas?
