I can't get the "For Mac" version of the Belkin USB VideoBus II device. I assume I can buy the PC model and just install the Mac drivers from the Belkin website. Has anybody else done this successfully?

Tried that the other way around, plugging the Mac one into my old PC!

PC being a surly beast took a dislike to it & tried to melt it!

Afterwards it wouldn't work at all, which probably did me a favour since It really wasn't up to much to start with & I was able to return it as faulty & claim a refund!

I'd look for another solution if possible, it really isn't v good IMHO.

Just thought i'd mention that I did get it to work. I have tested it on both my Mac and a PC, and it works as it should. Sound quality is much better on the PC though, and the PC version (obviestly) doesn't include VideoShop (but I allready have it).

Does anyone know if the XLR8 Interview unit (essentially the same as the Belkin, so far as I can tell) will work on the PC? Perhaps using Belkin software?

While im not 100% positive, I do believe that the VideoBus and Interview are the same piece of hardware, just repackaged. Could be worth a try. Can anyone confirm this?
