I just bought an iPod a week ago and it worked fine for a few days. Now, at least twice a day, my iPod freezes. I find myself having to restart it over and over. I can't imagine that is normal. If anyone has had similar problems or suggestions, let me know.

does this happen primarily when trying to play certain songs, and are there some songs which cause it to freeze every time? there is a bug which can cause some mp3s to become corrupt when copied from iTunes (most often if you start more than one copy at the same time, this messes up tracks-sometimes with interesting results). loading corrupt tracks can take the iPod inordinately long (many minutes-effectively it's frozen). just deleting and reinstalling broken tracks fixed the problems i was having.

...and me too. Certain tracks can freeze the iPod. I've also frozen the iPod by trying to work it too much, but that should not be a problem. The same song tracks should cause the same problems, so go into iTunes and fix them.
